February Giveaway - Lisette Patterns!

We are enjoying lovely sunshine here today and the birds sound like spring is getting closer! We were shopping this weekend and I found these brand new Spring/Summer Simplicity Lisette patterns. I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway for these two patterns. The first is number 1879 - Souvenir which includes a dress, blouse and shorts. The second is number 1880 - Diplomat which includes a dress that can be made in a variety of different ways including a maxi dress version. Both patterns are for sizes 6-14.

To enter, just leave a comment about what projects you are up to, your favorite thing about spring, or something else! This giveaway is open to US residents only and will be open until 10:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, February 29. I will try to announce a winner and get the package out the first week of March. Have a great Monday!

First February Finish

A couple of weeks ago, I was reading a quilting blog that was making a quilt to give to a family member with a cancer diagnosis. I decided to make a (super simple) quilt for a member of our church facing some serious medical issues. I don't make quilts very often, but overall this one came together pretty well...and was finished a day before the surgery. I used this tutorial/pattern from Craft Hope but did not add the strap.

I used fabrics from our stash to create this quilt - I even had enough batting!

And...I have a giveaway winner for my January giveaway! The winner is Lindsay from PACountryCrafts! I'll be sending you an email. :) Look for a February giveaway coming soon!
