Summer Sewing

One of the blogs I like to read, Sew Lux Fabrics is doing a fun little link up. This month's theme is a summer inspired project.

I wanted to share a sweet little car trash bag holder my mom and I made for our shop. The orange and green of the fabrics just reminds me of a summer day full of sunshine!

Stop over and join in the Stitch and Share Challenge for this month!

Summertime Sale

Wow! Summer is flying by! I am children's librarian, so this is our busy time of the year...we finish summer reading next week. I have been trying to enjoy summer with my family, too, and I've been sewing for the shop and for myself. Finally made my daughter a darling dress with a tutorial from Kindershop Online and it turned out so cute! I also made my first Christmas present.

Speaking of Christmas, we are running our Christmas in July sale right now with 25% off a large selection of items in the shop. Prices are already marked down for you. Items include cotton fabric as well as handmade items. We just added sunglasses cases to the sale this afternoon!

Plus, our blog readers can get an additional 10% off through this weekend with the code CIJBLOG. Check us out and get a head start on your Christmas shopping!
