Several weeks ago, I was contacted and asked if I'd be interested in reviewing a Christian DVD from FishFlix. I had never heard of FishFlix before, but when I checked out the site, I was impressed with the variety. I was given the option of some family-friendly Christian DVDs and when I asked my daughter she said she wanted to try a VeggieTales DVD. FishFlix sent us Veggie Tales: The League of Incredible Vegetables DVD.
The DVD arrived very quickly and we had an opportunity not long after receiving it to watch it. My daughter was home from school recovering from a sinus infection, so we enjoyed watching The League of Incredible Vegetables together. I didn't realize it, but she had already watched it before and it is one of her favorite VeggieTales movies! The movie is a fun twist on the superhero theme that is so popular right now, but it addresses the common childhood (and adult) topic of fear, Ultimately, even superheroes can't rely on their super powers, but we can all trust in the highest superpower there is - God! The movie was entertaining and had a great message. I'll definitely take a look at FishFlix in the future for family-friendly movies we can watch together.
