What I Wore: The Calendar Says Spring...

It's been awhile since I've done an outfit post. I'm taking photos occasionally, so now I have a few outfits to share. I wanted to participate this week in Greater Than Rubies' On Trend Secondhand Remix Rewear Restyle this week, since you all know how much I love thrifting and garage sales. :)

The biggest challenge over the past couple of weeks is trying to dress "springy" when it's still so cold! It's snowing again here right now and it's been in the low 20's in the mornings. I tried to wear flats without socks yesterday and was so cold!

First up is today's outfit.

Black Pants: Dockers, Cardigan: Kohl's, Shirt: Apt. 9 via Goodwill, Earrings: Avon, Necklace: Elder-Beerman, Wedge Boots: KMart

This black and white floral blouse was a Goodwill find last year. I love this style of florals in clothing and fabric and black and white is really popular right now, plus it never really goes out of style. :)

Oatmeal Sweater: Target, Chambray: Kohl's, Necklace: Kohl's, Earrings: Avon, Pants: Kohl's, Flats: Payless

Jacket: JCPenney, Grey Tee: Old Navy, Scarf: Kohl's, Purse: Target, Skinny Jeans: Elle via garage sale ($2!), Boots: Target

Another example of on trend secondhand: these jeans are my only pair of blue skinnies and I got them at a garage sale for $2. I just got a pair of lightly distressed boyfriend jeans for $2.75 (half price tag color) at Goodwill and can't wait to wear them this spring.

I would highly recommend thrifting for incorporating on-trend items into your wardrobe. You might be surprised at what you find! Check out more of my secondhand finds here.

I'm linking up!
