I keep seeing this pretty Venus Fly Trap Necklace from J.Crew ($98) around various blogs and it seems so versatile. I was browsing through Avon's necklaces before we placed our next order and thought this Sparkling Collar Necklace ($16.99) looked pretty similar. I decided to order one to see what it's like, so I will keep you posted. The current brochure price is $16.99, but the introductory price was $7.99 (which is how much I paid), so if you like it, keep an eye out and it may go cheaper.

Which do you prefer? The splurge or the save necklace?
