What I Wore: Statement Necklaces

When I looked back at some of my recent outfit photos, I noticed I've replaced my scarves with statement necklaces. I like how pretty necklaces can dress up an outfit and change the look easily.

This was a casual look that I wasn't too crazy about when I had it on, but I like it better in this photo.
Capris: St. John's Bay (thrifted), Shirt: Handmade, Necklace and Earrings: A Tad Monroe, Flats: LUV Footwear

Lace Shirt: Old Navy, Maxi Skirt: Kohl's, Necklace: Penney's, Sandals: Target, Earrings: Avon

I wore this outfit to work on Saturday. It was chilly when the day started, but got really warm and humid. I picked up this blouse at Goodwill. I was looking for colorful pieces and love this one. I think it matches all of my colored pants (hot pink, coral, purple, and green) plus it works well with neutrals. It is technically sleeveless, so it was only $2.29 at Goodwill instead of the $4.29 price they charge for long and short sleeved tops. I think I will be wearing this blouse a lot!

Cardigan: Kohl's, Pants: Target, Shirt: AGB (Goodwill), Wedges: Payless, Earrings: Avon, Necklace: Mark (Avon)

Here it is without the cardigan.

And with comfy boat shoes for the rest of the day after work. Boat shoes from Target.

Next week, I'm planning to show you 7 days of skirts and dresses!

What is your favorite summertime accessory for dressing up an outfit?

I'm linking up!
