A New Week + a Giveaway

Whew! Where did last week go? It was definitely a crazy one around here! Lots of last minute details for work, a (thankfully) minor family emergency, new classes, new schedule...you know the feeling. I am hoping this week is a bit calmer and that we can settle into our summer routine. This post is going to full of odds and ends, nothing too exciting. :)

This song was a part of our worship set this morning. It's a good one.

I'm working on sewing up a purse for my mom's birthday. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures to share later thi week. After I finish, I'm thinking about making a batch of pouches or mug rugs for the shop and then maybe some pillows for our bedroom. Plus a maxi skirt for my mom. :)

I'm on Day 5 of my 7x7 remix. Two more days of outfits! I've been working on my post for Wednesday. It's been a good challenge, but hard! You can see the items I chose here.

Last week, I started the book Anything with a couple of friends as a part of the Summer Good Morning Girls study. Very interesting and thought-provoking already.

Finally, it's time for a giveaway! Enter using the Rafflecopter below to win these goodies (pictured above):
  • A green and silver Avon necklace and earrings set
  • A set of the new Avon nail art design strips and a floral nail file
  • A Smash book (wedding themed, but most of the pages are not really bridal related)
  • Two rolls of washi tape

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Our plans for the summer will involve lots of visits to the outdoor splash pools and having the paddling pool out in the back garden! My little boy loves water :)

Awesome giveaway!! No immediate plans as of yet, but hubby and I are going to be trying out hydro planting so that right now is the highlight of our summer.

Well, obviously I am planning to have this baby at the end of the summer. :) In the meantime, I just want to keep cool and take it one week at a time! Thanks for the giveaway!

Hubby and I will be taking a group on a missions trip to Hungary. After we get home, we will direct two weeks of camp along with our daughter. Then, I will have my grands for a week. Full summer.

I've got lots of projects outside that I want to get done this summer, but so far it's been pretty rainy here in Wisconsin. I also would like to get up north to Lake Superior for at least a day or two. There's just something about the water that's good for the soul.

This Summer I'm getting ready to give birth to our baby #3. Lots of playing, cooking out, swimming, and gardening with my first two kids, before baby comes. Enjoying our time so far! :)
