What I Wore: Handmade

Well, I didn't end up wearing too many skirts and dresses this week. It stayed pretty chilly from Friday-Monday, so I got to wear my scarves and layers again over the long weekend. I even got to wear my new rain boots I picked up on clearance!

I also wore a couple of items that I made in the last few days - a shirt and a maxi skirt. I got some good apparel fabric on clearance at Joann's over the holiday weekend as well, and was excited to use it!

Denim Jacket: Lands' End, Gold Blouse: LOFT (Goodwill), Pants: Old Navy (Goodwill), Flats: Target, Necklace and Earrings: Avon, Bracelet: Shabby Apple

Sweater: Elder-Beerman, Shirt: Merona, Necklace: Kohl's, Skirt: Made by me, Flats: Payless, Bracelet and Earrings: Avon

Shirt: Made by me, Pants: Target, Flats: Target, Necklace: Elder-Beerman, Bracelet: Gift

I'm linking up!

Great job on the sewing for yourself! I have been altering some things to make them work for me- that maxi dress I told you about and some shirts. I also went on a maxi skirt sewing spree yesterday- one fits well, one is not so flattering.

You look beautiful, as always! :)

your homemade skirt is amazing - I'm so jealous of those who can make their own clothes. It'd be so much fun to have something that no one else owns.
