Spring Color Challenge Day 3: Lemon Zest

Well on to Day 3 of the color challenge! Lemon Zest is a color that is lacking in my wardrobe - I do have several pieces (striped t-shirt, t-shirt, ruffled blouse, blazer, and flats) that are more of a gold/mustard color. I tried to find something I owned that was a springier yellow and came up with a necklace and earrings. Again, this outfit is a bit of a stretch for the color challenge, but I did wear a neglected necklace (that is actually very pretty) and also a pair of earrings I've never worn before.

Cardigan: Kohl's, Wedges: Payless, Shirt: Target, Pants: Kohl's, Necklace: Avon, Earrings: Groopdealz

I'm linking up with The Modern Austen for the color challenge as well as:

Loving your necklace- that would go with so many outfits I'm thinking! And those wedges are great- I seriously love Payless shoes-- did you buy these recently?

I actually have quite a few things in this color (love the descriptive color names by the way!) and I think it is a good color on me. However, by the end of the summer I will be feeling a little like a school bus. :)

I don't really have lemon yellow either, so I just went with mustard(which allowed me to wear my very favorite mustard skirt)

That is a gorgeous necklace! I always forget that Avon sells jewelry sometimes. Great choice. Thanks for joining us again!

I love your necklace! I have a few tiered necklaces like yours and I haven't brought them out this year. I need to change that ASAP!
