A few weeks ago, there was a great promo for a discount at thredUP, an online kid's consignment shop with tons of great brands. With the promo code, I was able to get 3 pieces for my daughter for under $5 including shipping. The skirt and tshirt pictured are Gymboree and were new with tags. The shorts were also Gymboree and even though they did not have their tags, they are in beautiful condition - they look brand new!
I love that you can search the site by size, brand, type of clothing, etc. There are lots of items available, so adding these parameters helps to narrow your search down. It is awesome that you know what pieces are new with tags as well. The prices are higher than a garage sale or a thrift store would be, but the quality and brands are generally nicer and it is easier to browse through things than at a regular store.
The link above is my referral link - get $10 off your first order and I earn $10 as well.
I am also really excited that thredUP will be launching a women's shop soon! Use this link to sign up for the women's boutique email list. This is also my referral link and I can earn $5 for each person that signs up through my link. You can also get a referral link to share with friends to earn $5 for each person that signs up through your link!
Have you ever used thredUP before? What was your experience?

I ordered two pair of shorts and ended up paying $3.98 for shipping. The next day they refunded me 99cents with no explanation as to why. The package arrived today and one of the pairs of shorts is stained up and dingy-looking. There are stickers on it say, "sorry, flawed freebie refunded". So, the refund was my shipping on the shorts and there is a credit on my account for $3.98. So, if I use that credit, I would have to pay $2.98 shipping now. The shorts are just for practice, so the stains are no big deal, but in the end I am not thrilled with the whole experience. I am glad that it worked out well for you, though!
