Waiting for Spring

Happy Monday! Today is going to be a catch up day around here. My husband graciously took a vacation day, so we are planning to do our Saturday errands this morning. :)

In the meantime, it is still so cold and icky here!! I know this is a typical Ohio March, but I am so ready for warmer temperatures! And sunshine! In the meantime, I have been doing some crafting in springtime colors instead.

I have some earrings left over from the craft show. If you'd like a pair, they are $4 shipped or 2 pairs for $5 shipped. Send me an email and which ones you'd like.

Here's a close up of some aqua and lilac ones. :) I have enough left over pastel beads, that I think I am going to make myself a bracelet.

We also ordered this pretty springy colored fold over elastic to make hair ties. It didn't come in time for the show, so we will be enjoying this elastic for us and maybe for some fun springtime gifts. :)

I also picked up this pretty blue-green fabric to make a ruffle tank from this Simplicity pattern. I've had the pattern since last year and I am excited to give it a try. Patterns are really hard for me to follow (I usually use online tutorials), but I have successfully made myself a few things, so hoping this turns out!

What's the weather like where you are? Are you getting some spring temperatures or are you stuck in winter? How are you bringing spring into your life?

Check back tomorrow - I have a springtime giveaway coming!

I'm linking up!

I hope you have a very successful day. =) Did you do well at your show? Can't wait to see what you create with your elastic and fabric.

It's supposed to storm here...we'll see. I might be stranded on the hill for a day.

Have a great week.
