Easter Dress

I've made my daughter's Easter dress for the last few years and decided to make her one again this year. I started with the free pattern for the Marilyn Slim Fit Peasant dress from fabric.com. Then I added some length and a ruffle at the bottom to make a long maxi dress.

I'm also working on a skirt for me using Simplicity 2226 and the sew along here at Noodlehead. I'm hoping to get it done by Easter!

Are you sewing anything for Easter? I'd love to hear about it!

I'm linking up with Fabric Tuesday and Linky Party Tuesday.

What a sweet easy dress for a little girl! I am making a dress from Lila Tueller for this Sunday.
So cute and Springy...just right for Easter Day!

Great job! I love the fabrics you used!

Love it! That is similar to the style I"m going to be making for the orphans in Africa. I'm getting together a sewing bee...so hopefully someone will come sew! =)

Not really sewing anything for Easter, but I also have that skirt pattern...I do plan on making it yet this Spring! Would love to see your finished skirt, and love this Easter dress for your daughter!
What a sweet dress! I should make something like this for my little granddaughters! Thanks for sharing!
