31 Days of 31 Minutes - Day 6: Thrifting

Can it be Thursday already? We are enjoying some lovely sunshine and warmer temperatures which have lifted my spirits this week.

My most recent 31 minutes came in the form of spending some time thrifting - at Goodwill. For thrifting inspiration, check out the Frugal Fashionista series at Balancing Beauty and Bedlam. Good stuff. :)

I found a great batch of clothes at the end of the summer - tops from Penney's, jeans from Gap and DKNY, and super cute Target and Apostrophe dresses. Last night, we took a few minutes to explore a new to use Goodwill one town over after my daughter had soccer and football. I was so excited to find this adorable Ann Taylor Loft faux wrap jersey dress in black and white - for less than $6! I was so excited. I wasn't sure it would fit as it was a bit smaller than I normally wear, but it did. I am just thrilled and can't wait to wear it!

Any fun surprises or triumphs for you today? I'd love to hear - leave me a comment!

I've been enjoying your 31 minute series Carly. I love to thrift! We have a St. Vincents (Catholic) and a Salvation Army thrift store. There's not often much good, but every now and then I'll hit the jackpot. You scored big on that cute dress. You should post a picture of you with it on:)
