I have a bit of catching up to do on my 31 days posts! As I look back over the last few days, I can see why. On Day 14, we took a lot of extra time out of our routine to go and visit my grandfather. We like to visit him once a month, but working 3 out of 5 weekends this month makes it hard - especially since we have a 2 hour drive one way and do the trip in a day.
Thankfully, my husband was able to take a half day off from work and we went to visit on a weekday (Friday). My daughter loved spending time with her Grandpa and especially enjoyed eating out at a restaurant with her Grandpa and her Uncle. This took lots more than 31 minutes...but it was worth the time.
