Wow! It's been awhile since I've posted here, but we've been busy - with Easter, working on our garden, plus quite a bit of sewing. We finished up our fabric fast on Easter. I got some DS Quilts fabric as Easter gifts. I am hoping to make some spring skirts and a table runner with the fabric. We also found some gorgeous Farmdale fabric at a nearby Joann Fabric, so we have some plans for some creations from this fabric to appear in the shop soon.
My biggest finish so far this year is this quilt here. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for my husband...then for Valentines...then our anniversary. Well, it got finished by around the first of May - better late than never, I suppose.
The quilt is super simple. I have only made a few quilts and don't know a great deal about quilting, but I'm learning. This is the largest quilt I've made. You can definitely see some crooked stitching in one of these pictures, but I'm glad it got finished. I used some Michael Miller airplane fabric as well as some train fabric as well.
I'm linking up to the Bloggers' Quilt Festival. Check out all of the amazing(!) quilts there.
