Some Projects Finished (and New Fabric)

Well, I am excited to say I am finishing some projects! Here are few recent finishes.

Some quilted placemats - I leave my snowmen up most of the month, so I knew I had time to enjoy these.

A flannel baby blanket for my husband's cousin - love the giraffe!

I also made a really fun red floral messenger bag from this tutorial. I love it! I have plans to make at least 3 more - not all for me, but for gifts, too!

We've been adding lots of new things to the shop, including some of this blue Willow berry fabric!

I am thrilled to have found this locally - at Joann Fabric, no less! I am going to make new kitchen curtains from it, and we're going to make a bag holder for the shop, too! Yardage was just listed in the shop today. Look for more coffee cozies, tea wallets, and bag holders coming soon - plus some new items like round tablecloths and table squares.

If you see something you like in the shop, use coupon code JAN11 to save 11% shop wide. We also have a big placemat sale coming this weekend - it's a good one!

I just found the most amazing fabric at our Walmart yesterday. I had to go there...and so I figured I'd look over the fabric. At only $2.97 a yard, I got three coordinating pieces of Kitchen print fabrics from David's Textiles...it's a great quality cotton fabric...and I'm going to make an apron out of it! Says, "Kiss the cook" in one place. =)
