Patchwork Pillow Cover

I have been enjoying using fabrics to make various patchwork projects lately. I am gradually moving into more attempts at quilting, but a couple of weeks ago, I was playing with some fabric scraps and started doing some cutting. I put together an arrangement that was pleasing to me, thinking it was going to be a patchwork table topper.

I pulled it out today (in an effort to get some projects in my basket finished!) and started sewing it together. When I finished, it was almost the correct size to make a 16" pillow cover. I decided to add one more strip of fabric to make it the right size, and then used some leftover minky to make the back of the pillow cover.

Here is the finished project! I love the colors and fabrics. They seem cheerful and perfect for summer! I had a lot of fun with this, and can definitely see making more. I am thinking about offering them for sale in the shop...what do you think?
