Today is Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day! We love participating in this event. It is so fun to discover new blogs and hear from lots of people!

This year, we're giving away the 3 fat quarters pictured below (Amy Butler and Anna Maria Horner!) plus your choice of either a pattern or a scrap bundle from our shop.

Our favourite vacation is our 2 weeks at the lake every summer. We take the boat and the in-laws take their RV and we have a grand time!

My favorite vaca destination is Tucson, AZ. My sister and her family live there and we only get to see them once every 2-3 years. :( We're thrilled to soak up some sunshine and bask in the love of family when we are able to get there though!

We live in a place that is a "dream trip" for many, so of course we also enjoy it as much as we can. Our favorite vacation spot is at the very end of the Kenai Peninsula & then across Kachemak Bay to Seldovia. Ocean, rocky beach, mountains, volcanoes, killer views, it has it all!

Lovely fabrics! My favourite summer destination is just heading up into the mountains nearby - but my favorite winter vacation is Hawaii... I've been three times now and I love it!
I don’t know if my email will show up, since I’m a WordPress user and by the looks of things, that means that even though I’d be willing to share my information, it might mean it won’t show up… :( (I read about this here: http://piecemealquilts.com/2011/09/08/no-reply-no-kidding/ after trying to figure out what a ‘no-reply blogger’ was! On Wordpress we always see the email addresses of those who comment.

Favourite summer destination was this one time when we went to Sweden. Stayed at a beautiful small wooden house on a lake and in the morning we got woken by swans :)

My favorite tradition in spring/summer is getting up early on, as many as we can, Saturdays and tooling around the downtown farmers market. My youngest is 17 and male and he still looks forward to it each week.

Our favorite summer traditions are family cookouts and bonfires on EVERY occasion we can think of. We have wide open sky and can stargaze as well.

Our family has been participating in our state's Great Park Pursuit sponsored by our DEEP for the last several years--each weekend we visit a different state park and participate in fun activities. This weekend is the kickoff and we will be fishing.

My favorite vacation destination is the Great Smoky Mountains. We went there every year when I was growing up, and my children have never been. I'd love to go again and take them to my old haunts that i loved so much.
